Gauldrons whisky tells the story of the dark, stormy bays of the same name on the west coast of Campbeltown. Walking across the fine sands of the Gauldrons, you can feel everywhere the ghosts of the old, forgotten distilleries that were once the pride and joy of “Scotland’s whisky capital” Campbeltown. On the palate, the whisky is maritime dry and then warms to crisp sugar, barley and oak. The warm spicy finish that follows brings nuances of smoke clouds and dark sugar.
