The incredible story of Casa Gancia, creator of the 1st Italian sparkling wine in 1865, goes back many years. Since then, Gancia has experienced significant growth and innovation, proudly celebrating its 170th anniversary in 2020. Gancia\u2019s historic wine cellars are known as underground cathedrals due to their unique architecture. Thanks to their beauty and importance, these cellars were designated a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2014 as part of the Langhe Roero and Monferrato landscape.<\/p>\n

Prosecco<\/strong>
\nProsecco is made from Glera grapes, an indigenous grape variety from the Treviso area. Prosecco became a protected DOC area in 2009. Gancia
\nis one of the few wineries outside the DOC area that, thanks to its long
\nproduction tradition and its know-how in sparkling wine production, is allowed to carry out a second fermentation in house.<\/p>\n

View<\/strong>: Intense ros\u00e9 color, brilliant and clean. Fine and persistent perlage.
\nNose<\/strong>: Intense and persistent, with fruity notes of grape (deep hints of small red fruits) and Pinot Noir.
